I recall that while working at WAMC Alan Chartock gave me 10 white envelopes each with 10 hunndred-dollar bills in it, he also gave me a list of offices in Albany to deliver each to.

When I asked him what was going on he replied this is how he got guests for the Capitol Connection radio show.

I was looking for Chartock's personal blog and it is not there - 404 not found - I bet he is trying to write less since his remark about neocons murdering Americans.

Might be an interesting question for him as to where his blog went, I think he is running scared.

I looked at the IRS reports, seems like they overextended themselves with the other unneeded office building but even more with the Linda. It's obvious no one at the station ever thought to make a market survey or otherwise try to determine if that place could keep itself going on profits only.

So now the station has to support these non-productive efforts that will only drain it further.

How about your comments on Susan A. leaving WAMC for that SmAlbany public TV station; what do ya think?

I think it is great she won't be available in to all those Massholes, like Chartoock and us purists in Vermont.

Up and out, go GIRL.

I think the way to spread the truth about what Alan has gotten away with would be to have someone who was a direct witness (me) go volunteer at regional public radio stations, and tell the story that way, internally to both the staff and volunteers of those stations, that by the way must compete with WAMC for pledges. Why not!
