Alan interviewed Maurice Hinchey (D-NY) today on Congressional Corner. How come Alan never mentions Hinchey is a member of WAMC's trustees? Plus, all he did was throw Hinchey softball questions aimed at giving Hinchey a chance to lambast Republicans. He did not ask anything about Hinchey's Democratic Party's obstructionism. Wimpy stuff!
Did anyone happen to catch the Alan & Clarence "discussion" (or was that mutual masturbation) of the Newsweek-Koran-in-the-toilet issue? It was Alan at his best - asking AND answering the questions. I can only assume that he hired Clarence to be his enabler.
The failed bail out plan was a non-partisan cop-out, and I'm glad it did not pass.
My confidence level in Congress has improved tremendously since the vote.
What was missing?
In a word, responsibility In another, accountability
We saw this same type of legislation when the Bankruptcy Reform bill was passed. No responsibility, no accountability on the part of the financial institutions.
My advice to my representatives...Don't be pressured into voting for another bad deal for your constituents.
We do not know if A plan will work. We don't know if NO plan will work. The only thing we do know is that the American people are already paying for it.

I heard nothing on WAMC today because I don't listen to propaganda
