um, lots of ceos get company cars. this is news?
yawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwn
hey, everybody-- the WAMC fund drive kicks off again on Monday, June 5 (2006). Let's all donate twice as much as we usually do on behalf of Glenn M Heller! Yaaay, Glenn!
Yeah, lots of CEO's DO get company cars to drive. I'm one of those CEO's! And every year I got to calculate how much tax I owe on that car because I use it to drive to work (as well as on company business). That's the way the law is written. If Alan Chartock isn't paying his fair share of taxes on benefits he gets from his corporation, then he deserves whatever penalty IRS metes out!
Nail him! Great work, and keep up the pressure. A. Cartalk is a monomaniac BORE who represents everything tedious, soporific and dull in public broadcasting. He richly deserves any pain the IRS and others can administer to his sorry bottom.
